5 posts · Joined 2015. #1 · Sep 14, 2015. HI, Anyone any ideas. We have a 2005 Transporter T5 2.5 TDI, and the water pump has gone. It is currently at the garage for the water pump to be replaced, but they are having terrible problems trying to remove the old pump. Evidently the mechanics have gone through a couple of the removal tools already.

Be aware that driving it with the MAF disconnected will trigger a fault code for 'MAF sensor open circuit'. Driving with the MAF sensor
